Full interior design of a Restaurant in SA in Old French Cafe style.

The restaurant is separated in three areas – “take away” shop and self-service order reception, single visitors area and family area.

The interior is decided in the typical old style materials. The flooring is a combination of natural oak planks and few shades of brown-grey tiles with rough texture in the entrances’ areas. The reception mixes the dark brown-grey painted wood with the natural oak, together with the white wall tiles and black chalkboards for the menu lists.

The sitting areas are complited with natural oak tables or round black ironed bistro tables and few styles of comfort wooden chairs in signal orange or natural oak, with upholstery or sitting pillow in light grey or dark brown-grey and comfort sofas in the same colors.

The tables in the family area are separated by crate shelves partitionings combined with roman blinds and curtains to give each family the required privacy, but keep the charming and elegance of the French style.

All the curtains and blindes are hanged on iron holders, most of them hanging from the ceilling and wall, to make it easy for table reorganizations when needed. For the same reason all the partitionings are removable. The comfort upholstered chairs are in combination of natural oak and the Light grey-beige upholstery to contrast the partitionings and to fit the curtains and blinds. The decorative pillows in orange color fit the orange crates and lights.

An amazing touch is added by the accenting self-service coffee tables in dark wine-red and black metal and the designer’s choice for decorative mirrors with red iron frame with the look of English style street telephone booth.

The design is complited by the artistic old style lighting combining different variations of hanging wires with red and black cables, creating an interesting mesh, which contrast the light colors of the high walls and ceillings. The lights upper of the stairs are climbing the wall with their circled cables and are simple, but brilliant decoration decision for that area. And additional cosy feeling is coming from the area lighting for each table with the great contrast of the hanging pendants in signal orange.
